Easy Baked Beans with Apple

  • 2 15-oz cans baked beans, Boston style
  • 1 cup Granny Smith apples, diced
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 5 strips bacon
  • 1 teas salt.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 2-quart baking dish with cooking spray. In a mixing bowl combine the beans, onion, brown sugar, apples, mustard and salt. Mix well. Spoon this mixture into the prepared baking dish and top with the strips of uncooked bacon. Cover the casserole dish with either aa lid or foil and place in preheated oven. Bake covered for about 45 minutes until the contents of the dish are thick and bubbly. Remove cover and continue to back for an additional 5 minutes.

Easy Baked Beans

  • 4 16-20 oz. cans pork and beans
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 cup barbeque sauce
  • 3 pieces bacon
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 medium onion, diced

Use your favorite brand of baked beans and your favorite barbeque sauce. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13”baking pan or a large casserole dish with cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl combine the pork and beans, mustard, onion, Worcestershire sauce, barbeque sauce and brown sugar and mix well. Spoon the bean mixture into the prepared pan and place the bacon strips on top. Cover pan and place pan in preheated oven. Bake covered for about 45 minutes. Remove cover and continue cooking for about 20-25 more minute, or until bacon is done and beans are bubbly.

Easy Baked Beans with Pineapple

  • 3 16 oz. cans great northern beans
  • ½ cup diced cooked ham
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 ½ cups dark brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. mustard
  • 1 ½ Tbsp. cider vinegar
  • ¾ cup catsup
  • ½ cup crushed pineapple, drained

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9×13 inch baking dish with cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl combine all the ingredients and mix well. Spoon mixture into prepared baking pan and cover the pan with foil. Place covered pan in preheated oven and bake for 1 ¼ hours. Remove foil and continue to bake for another 30 minutes.

Easy Southern Baked Beans

  • 2 16-oz. cans pork and beans
  • ½ lb. bacon
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 Tbsp. mustard
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 4 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Cut bacon into ½ inch pieces. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a Dutch oven with cooking spray. In the Dutch oven combine the beans, onion, maple syrup, catsup, mustard, brown sugar and lemon juice, mix well. Place the bacon strips over the top of the bean mixture. Place the lid on the Dutch oven and then put the Dutch oven into the preheated oven. Bake for about 50 minutes.
