Blueberry or Strawberry Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie

  • 1 cup milk, your choice of type of milk
  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • 1 banana, peeled and broken into chunks
  • ½ cup frozen blueberries or strawberries (or a combination)
  • ½ teas. vanilla, optional
  • 1 sugar, optional

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Pumpkin Spice Protein Smoothie

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk, or soy milk, or milk of your choice
  • 2 frozen peeled bananas, sliced
  • ½ can pumpkin puree
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • ½ teas. vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch ground cloves
  • 1 pinch ground ginger
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Avocado Smoothie

  • 1 ripe avocado, pitted and cut in half
  • 1 cup milk of your choice
  • ½ cup vanilla yogurt (Greek yogurt may also be used)
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 8 ice cubes

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Spicy Vegetable Smoothie

  • ½ cup fresh spinach.
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chipped
  • 1 small tomato, cut in half
  • ½ apple, cored
  • Juice from ½ lime
  • ¼ teas, ground ginger
  • ¼ tsp. Mrs. Dash Chipotle seasoning
  • 1 dash Tabasco sauce
  • Water to cover ingredients in blender

Wash all vegetables. Place all the ingredients in a blender with enough water to cover them. Blend until smooth.

Banana Apple Smoothie

  • 1 frozen peeled banana, chopped
  • 1 Gala apple, peeled, cored and chopped
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • ¼ cup milk of your choice

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie

  • 2 peeled bananas broken into chunks
  • 2 cups milk of your choice
  • ½ cup smooth peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 cups ice cubes

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
