Tips For Fast Weight Loss 

You want to get rid of some pounds and you want to do it quickly.  The real trick is no only to lose those excess pounds, but to keep those extra pounds off for good. 

If you only have a few pounds to lose, then you might want to try one of the many quick weight loss diets being promoted.  These types of diets can help you lose enough weight to wear that special dress for a special occasion.  However, once you stop these quick weight loss diets the weight will come right back on. 

Here are some tips to help you lose weight quickly and safely.  You will be able to maintain your weight loss. 

Consider following a diet that is high in protein and low in carbs.  A low carb diet, if done correctly, can help speed up your body’s fat burning metabolism.   Be sure to include lean meat, fish and poultry in your diet plan and limit or avoid the meat, fish and poultry loaded with fat. Keep the menu simple.  Try steak with salad, crisp bacon and eggs.   

Stay away from or limit sugar, flour and anything refined.  Stay away from processed foods.  In order to keep it edible, the food industry puts all kinds of preservatives in the food.  The processed foods may be loaded with sodium which makes you bloated. 

If you drink regular sodas cut them out!  A bottle of soda may have as much as 28 grams of sugar and 20-30 grams of sodium per serving. Be aware that a serving is probably not a bottle.  A serving is 8 ounces and this equals one measuring cup.  A bottle of soda often contains two or more servings,  

Think of all the liquid calories you are consuming when you drink regular soda.  In addition to the calories you are consuming lots of sodium, so you are promoting water retention.  And, by the way, all the sugar in sodas can cause damage to your teeth.  Does drinking a regular soda still sound appealing? 

Diet sodas although much lower in calories are loaded with chemicals including artificial sweeteners.  The chemicals and artificial sweeteners in diet sodas are probably safe for most people, so drinking one can a day probably won’t hurt you. 

Drink lots of water.  At least 8 glasses of water per day is recommended.  You need the water to flush out the toxins and fat that have built up in your body from eating processed foods.  If you drink just one glass of water the first thing in the morning when you get out of bed it will give you a good start.  Try adding a shot of lemon juice to this first glass of water.  Water helps people to lose weight since you feel fuller from drinking the fluid and tend to eat less food. Water helps your skin to appear brighter and healthier.  You will feel more alert and more vibrant when you drink lots of water. 

If you want to lose weight consider eliminating the cakes, pastries, candies, etc. – all the sweets that are loaded with enormous amounts of fat and calories per serving.  If you must have something that tastes delicious and sweet, try eating one piece of dark chocolate.  Dark chocolate contains healthy antioxidants. 

A liquid diet might be an option to consider for a short time.  Drink shakes that are high in protein. Be sure to watch the calories in the shakes, especially if you add some fruit to make smoothies.  You might want to try a liquid diet shake for two meals while eating a reasonable amount of healthy foods for the third meal. 

There are many options available if you want to lose pounds quickly.  Most important be sure your diet program is safe.  Make healthy diet decision a life long project.  Drink more water, limit sweets, sodas and processed foods.  Determine to treat your body right by giving it the healthy diet it needs.
