You Can Eat Peanut Butter And Lose Weight

Dieting to lose weight can become very boring in a short period of time.  This is especially true if you are limiting your diet menu to a few choices such as salads, plain vegetables and lean meat.  When you restrict your food choices you may not be getting enough of the vital nutrients and minerals your body needs.  You need to eat a wide range of foods.  When you are trying to lose weight you want to eat sensibly and include chicken, lean meats, fruits, and vegetables, a few whole grain and low fat dairy instead of white pasta, sweetened cereal and other calorie dense products containing little nutritional value. Some recent studies have shown that diets incorporating peanuts and other nuts were good at reducing the bad cholesterol (LDL).  This, in turn, can lower your risk of heart disease, strokes and other potentially fatal illnesses.   Since these foods are high in calories you want to eat them in moderate portions.

You still need to follow a healthy eating plan, limit your food intake, and incorporate some exercise in your daily routine, if you want to lose some weight.  Unfortunately, most people start to feel deprived and miserable as soon as they hear the word diet.  If you follow a diet plan that allows you a few treats you are more apt to succeed.

You may want to incorporate some additional power foods into your diet plan.  Green and black beans will fill you up without adding lots of calories.  These foods will help you to not feel hungry.  When you first begin a diet plan, hunger can be a major problem.

Drinking green tea may help you lose some weight.  Green tea is said to contain some fat burning agents.  Fish is another food which is great for weight loss, but not the deep-fried variety of fish.  Instead bake or broil a fish fillet.  Tuna and salmon contain Omega 3 fatty acids which are essential for maintaining a healthy mind and body.  If you are eating canned tuna or salmon be sure to use the products packed in water and not in oil.  You don’t need those extra calories from the oil in the cans.

You may have more success dieting if you eat four or five small meals throughout the day instead of three larger meals.  This will help to keep you blood sugar stable.  When you are trying to lose weight you never want to starve  yourself.  Your body with think you really are in danger of starving and will slow down
